PRIVATE COACHING
Together, in a private coaching session, live or online, we can identify how to strengthen your technique so that you are able to realise your full artistic and physical potential and reach goals such as developing your confidence for auditons or establishing solutions for specific movement challenges. Private sessions are also the ideal way to safely ease back into training after an injury or a break. My Dance Science and Dance Medicine knowledge supports me in guiding you according to your individual anatomical needs.
If you have questions about private coaching, and/or would like to book with me, please do not hesitate to get in touch: saskia-tindle@gmx.at

DANCE SCIENCE
As a ballet teacher who has studied Dance Science, I specialize in helping dancers meet the physical demands of classical ballet while enhancing their overall performance and longevity. Ballet requires not only precise technique, artistry, and flexibility but also strength, endurance, and creativity. Yet, dancers often face the challenge of balancing these demands with the physical strain of long hours and frequent injuries. Through targeted strength and conditioning, including aerobic and anaerobic exercises, I help dancers build the stamina and resilience needed to perform at their best—without compromising their aesthetics. Research shows that supplementary fitness training can enhance performance, prevent injuries, and reduce fatigue, allowing dancers to excel in their art and extend their careers. Together, we can ensure you stay strong, injury-free, and ready to tackle even the toughest productions with confidence.
Here you can find a selection of information on the science of training for dancers.

IMprovisation & Visualisation Workshops
I have a deep interest in the field of improvisation and imagery cognition in dance and research its applications, particularly how these enhance dancers’ learning and performance. In my practice, I implement imagery and visualization to lead dancers through the class and I offer specialized workshops focused on these areas. These workshops allow dancers to explore and deepen their understanding of improvisation, imagery, and visualization as tools for artistic and technical growth. On occasion, in my regular classes, I also implement improvisation tasks to support associative thinking skills in relation to imagery and further aid kinesthetic and artistic learning goals. I often use verbal prompts inspired by Forsythe or Laban, as well as conceptual mind maps, visual art, music and literature to aid these processes. My background in fine art and graphic design enables me to guide dancers in developing personal images in real-time to address movement challenges and add texture and meaning. I find it necessary to train this skill and not merely feed the dancers teacher-led images with which to work with. Through encouraging the dancers to craft their own imagery in real-time I hone their associative thinking which is necessary for self-correction and inspiration. Furthermore, the use of imagery strengthens the mind-body connection, facilitating the development of somatic authority.
