Wolfgang Schmidhuber-Tindle
Hello
I am British, born in Northampton, UK, and trained at Bush Davies School of Performing Arts, later completing my professional training at Ballet Rambert School in London. After Rambert, I performed with various ballet companies, including Deutsche Oper am Rhein Düsseldorf, National Ballet of Portugal, Altenburg, Görlitz, Braunschweig, and Koblenz theatres.
Since 2009, I have been teaching dancers of all ages and levels, from beginners to professionals and post-professionals. My teaching experience spans university-level courses, professional and private schools, and company classes

Commitment to Growth & Dance Education
I see each class as an opportunity to grow within the art form—not just for the dancers, but for me as a teacher and I believe life-long learning is essential. In addition to my diploma in Ballet and Contemporary Dance from the Rambert School, I am a trained ballet teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance, London, and hold the ZAM certificate in dance medicine from ta-med.e.V. Germany, I also hold a Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Dance Science from the University of Bern and a Master of Science (MSc.) in Dance Science from the University of Wolverhampton. Currently, I am in my third year of studying for an MA in Ballet Pedagogics for Professional Ballet Education at the Palucca Hochschule in Dresden, Germany.
Many positive changes are finally occurring in the dance world and through my teaching, further education and research, I seek to support and advance these changes as much as possible, bringing a mentally, physically, and spiritually healthy approach to ballet. I am convinced that to unlock a dancer's full potential and support authenticity, ballet must be adapted to the individual. This approach empowers dancers to contribute uniquely to the art form, and I strive to create an environment where each dancer can discover, explore, and develop the art within themselves.
